Tropical Thursdays is a mini-series in which we ask our high school history teacher, Mr. Parr, a fun question and take a photograph of him wearing his Tropical Thursday shirt.

Question: Worst experience ever?

Mr. Parr: “When I was getting interviewed to be in the teaching program, and my adviser, or the person giving the interview, looked at my SAT scores and said ‘Gosh, your GPA does not match your SAT scores,’ in a very condescending tone.”

Mr. Parr had a 3.2 GPA.
