Winter Break Update: Junior High Girls Basketball
Cannelton Lady Bulldogs 8th Grade Basketball Team 2019-2020.
Our junior high girls basketball teams have played in three games since we began our winter break.
On Friday, December 20, our girls played against Tell City. Brianna Evans, Makayla Hulse, and Makayla Reed all scored 2 points, each. The Lady Bulldogs lost to the Marksmen by a final score of 22-6.
On Monday January 6, we played against St. Bernard. Our junior high girls lost to the Panthers, 31-2. The team had a hard time scoring this game. They had a lot of open shots, but they just weren’t falling. Seventh grader Makayla Hulse was the only one who scored, with 2 points.
The junior high Lady Bulldogs played their third game over the break on Wednesday, January 8. The team played against Tell City at their gym, but lost by a final score of 17 to 3. This game we also had a lot of open shots, but they just weren’t falling. Eighth grader Makayla Reed was the one that scored the 3 points, at the end of the first game.
The junior high Lady Bulldogs will travel to Hancock County on Thursday, January 16th to take on the Lady Hornets.
