On Thursday, December 5, our varsity girls played against Christian Academy Of Indiana. Even though the girls didn’t get the turnout they wanted, they all played very well and all tried their best. It was a close game, but the Lady Bulldogs lost by a final score of 45-32.

Freshman Kendall Hale had 21 points and was the lead scorer for the team that night. Sophomore Maggie Dawson added a total of 9 points, and Junior Sara Crafton added 2 points to the total.

“Christian Academy came out with a strong defensive presence, focused heavily on myself,” said Freshman Kendall Hale. She continued, “Our offense struggled with finding the gaps and hitting the open girl in the first half. Our defensive presence wasn’t as strong as it should have been in the first half. We made some good adjustments and came out into the second half with the intensity we needed, but it was just too late to dig ourselves out of the hole we dug ourselves into.”

The Lady Bulldogs will play Hancock County at our home gym on December 9th.
