On December 12, our middle school basketball girls played at home against the Evansville Racers. It was a well played game, but the Lady Bulldogs finished with a loss, 32 to 17.

Seventh grader Kylie Anastasiades led the team in scoring with 6 points. Eighth grader Makayla Reed added 5 points, sixth grader Brianna Evans scored 4 points, and sixth grader Chloe Hale had 2 points.

Coach Mike said that the team “ran the offensive sets well and got a lot of open looks.” However, he added that the team needs to work on “handling on ball pressure” for our next game.

The eighth grade Lady Bulldogs will play again this Thursday, December 19th against Tell City, at our home gym. Coach Mike say he wants the team to, “ Play hard and don’t get down on yourselves.”
