Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney is a really funny book. It’s about a boy named Greg Heffley who’s in middle school and writes in his journal (though he insists it’s not a diary!). Greg has a best friend named Rowley, and they get into all sorts of silly situations together. Most of the time, things don’t go the way Greg wants, and that’s what makes the book so funny.
The book also has funny pictures and comics on almost every page. Greg writes about school, his family, and all the crazy stuff that happens to him. His older brother Rodrick is super annoying, and his little brother Manny always seems to get away with everything. Poor Greg just can’t catch a break!
