Fall, or autumn, is a season full of change and beauty. As summer ends and the weather cools down, everything around us starts to shift. The leaves turn bright shades of red, orange, and yellow before falling to the ground. This happens because trees stop making chlorophyll, and even though it’s just their way of getting ready for winter, it creates some of the prettiest views of the year.
The cooler weather is another reason fall is so enjoyable. After months of hot summer days, it feels great to throw on a hoodie and enjoy the crisp air. People start drinking hot chocolate and pumpkin spice lattes, and fall activities like hayrides, pumpkin patches, and Halloween make the season even more fun. Plus, it’s football season, which makes weekends even more exciting for a lot of people.
Fall also feels like a fresh start. A new school year begins, which might not be everyone’s favorite part, but it does bring routine and motivation. The season reminds us that change can be a good thing. Even though things like the trees and the weather are slowing down, it’s also a time to reflect and enjoy the little things. Whether it’s spending time with family on Thanksgiving or just walking through fallen leaves, fall has something special to offer.
